I heard from Major Dad today! He has safely arrived in Iraq.
I asked him where he was, and his answer was..."I'm across the street from a Cinnabon...down the street from Burger King, and Pizza Hut is around here somewhere."
For those of you who remember his first deployment to Iraq, you know this is a FAR CRY from the conditions he lived in last time!
He sounded tired, but he's good.
